Nearly ten years ago, VetMed Group was formed primarily to help care for America’s Veterans through teleradiology and medical/non-medical material support. Since the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is increasingly looking to leverage the skills and offerings of Veteran- and disabled-Veteran-owned small businesses, founders Mike Niemtzow and Alex Hernandez, both disabled veterans, knew they had a lot they could offer the VA. They reached out to some of America’s top physicians and invited them to invest in and create a premier health care organization focused on delivering safe, reliable, and effective health care to America’s Veterans.

 

Since then, VetMed has seen tremendous growth. Now an important partner to the VA, VetMed delivers world-class radiology service to patients around the clock. Additionally, VetMed is proud to now offer the same high-quality patient care to the private sector, with a culture formed around a duty to serve our customers, both Veterans and civilians, with the utmost care and integrity.
