Mike Niemtzow

Master in managing client experience and expectations

Mike is Co-Founder and President of VetMed Group, responsible for overall leadership and managing the client experience. Mike is passionate about leveraging technology and automating backend processes to make teleradiology the default delivery mechanism for radiology across the world. His leadership philosophy is “command by negation” which empowers his team to operate as they see fit under pre-established plans and protocols.

Prior to founding VetMed Group, Mike was an investment banker on Wall Street for seven years focusing on M&A, capital markets transactions, and private equity. This experience taught him how the best companies in the world deploy capital, people, and assets to provide exciting services and products for customers and strong returns for investors.

Originally from Maryland, Mike joined the Navy as a midshipman in the NROTC program at Tulane University in New Orleans where he graduated cum laude. He served as an officer aboard USS Milius (DDG 69) and USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) and completed two deployments to the Arabian Gulf. He is proud to be the third generation of his family to serve in the U.S. military. He graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with an MBA in finance and accounting in 2005.
